Hello everybody! I hope this hump day is treating you well. Here is another process of a sketch post. I like to show these from time to time, because it shows what a simple sketch can be transformed into. The picture on the right shows the sketch drawn out, outlined in pen and I had just begun putting marker detail on the background flowers. Most of the time I have no idea what color story I’m going to go with. I usually have to start at one point with a color and then I just decide as I go which complimentary colors to use. The middle image is the sketch completely finished and ready to photograph in my sketchbook. The last image has been cropped and is ready to go up on my site. This image was made with pen and markers. My marker of choice has been Prismacolor lately. Love them!
