Hand Painted Christmas Ornaments 2021

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven’t posted much in a while. I spent the month of October creating hand painted ornaments and signs for my Etsy shop. I have them all completed and have posted them all in my shop. I have some that are single ornaments and some that are sets. They all have free shipping. Remember to support local businesses and artists this holiday season! I would love for you to check them out!

Girly Park Birthday Invite

Here is one of the latest projects that I was commissioned to work on for a 4th birthday party. The theme is girly playground. I decided to add some cute elements like hearts, rainbows and cute clouds. All the clipart elements were drawn digitally and then put together in Photoshop with text. Below is the invitation, thank you cards and bubble party favor tags that I made to match for this cute party. This invite design is available in my Etsy shop as a digital file. If you need any custom art or invites made, send me a message. I love creating custom art!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter! I hope everyone has a great day consisting of family, friends and chocolate bunnies…lol! Sorry I love chocolate, it’s my favorite. Especially Cadbury Mini Eggs! I have a couple bags hidden just for myself. This piece was drawn out digitally using Procreate. Enjoy!

Cafe Gallery

This past week, I was given the opportunity to hang and display my artwork at a local cafe in Olathe, KS. The name of the cafe is Love At First Bite and it’s grand opening is Monday, April 8th. I’m so grateful for friends that always look out for opportunities for me and send them my way. I definitely wouldn’t have taken this leap without them! If you are ever in the area stop by for coffee, pastries and see my artwork! Checkout Love At First Bite’s Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/loveatfirstbitekc/. Camp Sunset

It’s finally Friday! It’s been kind of a crazy week full of projects and helping out with my son’s fun fair at school tonight. This painting is very fitting with the fun fair theme this year of camp. It should be a fun night of games, crafts, prizes and good food. This painting was created with watercolor and black pen. I used my silhouette to cut a circular shape out of vinyl and placed it on my watercolor paper before I started to paint. After I finished, I just peeled off the vinyl to reveal a perfect circle. So easy and effective! I think I will keep using the technique on future projects.

Ms. Fox

It’s the weekend! And it has snowed yet again over night in Kansas City. I think it’s safe to say that everyone is way over Winter this year. When will Spring finally come? I’m ready! I was really happy when a good friend of mine asked me to do a small painting for her daughter of a fox. It’s exactly the piece I needed to help boost my mood and at least paint something Spring. This cute little 5×7 piece was painted with watercolor. I love how it turned out! If you need a piece of artwork created for you, send me a message! I love doing custom artwork!

Purple Jellyfish

Soooo….am I the only one over this years winter yet? We have yet another snow day today! This has been the most snow days in one year in my entire existence in Kansas City. I’m ready for it to be spring! I want to see the sun, the grass (even though it’s brown) and beginnings of flowers growing. But until then, I will just keep posting cute and non cold related artwork…lol! Here is a cute jelly fish I created yesterday while my youngest was in preschool. It was drawn digitally using Procreate. I like how cute it turned out, but still feels moody. Do you think this guy is adorable, too? He’s available as an art print that is a digital download in my Etsy shop and on an array of products in my Society6 shop. Just use the links above on the menu. Have a great day! Enjoy!

Love

Hi everyone! It’s a shaping up to be an extremely cold day in Kansas City and across the midwest. So cold in fact that my kids don’t have school today. We have not had negative temps around here in I feel like years. Here is a watercolor painting that I mad on a whim the other morning. I wanted to create something to celebrate love and Valentines Day. To create the word love, I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the word. Then I placed it on my watercolor paper and then painted around the sticker and then peeled it back to reveal the word love. This painting is available in my Etsy and Society6 shops!

My Life Would Suck

It’s finally the weekend! I feel like Kansas City has been one big snow day for the past 2 weeks. But now it’s just darn cold on top of it. I’m ready for it to warm up a little bit. I can’t believe the month is almost over and February will be here before we know it. Which means let everything Valentines day take over! Here is a drawing I did digitally this past week. It’s pretty simple I know, but I love it. I’m hoping to put it on some notebooks or make some stickers of it soon. I have always loved this song lyric and thought it was fitting for Valentine’s Day. I hope you enjoy!

Hello 2019

It’s the beginning on a new year and I have so much to be thankful for. I had a pretty great 2018. It wasn’t a monumental year by any means, but it was filled with new and old friends, family time and creative explorations. I can’t complain at all! This new year has some pretty big shoes to fill. I hope 2019 will flourish my creative endeavors. My goal is to be creating something new everyday and to maybe be able to do some vendor shows this year. What is your goal for the year? I wish every one a fantastic 2019!
