Hello everyone! I hope everyone has had a great week. It’s cold here in Kansas City and is definitely feeling like winter. I think the winter blues have been rubbing off on my new artwork. A lot of the color schemes have been dark, moody and full of cool color schemes. This piece of artwork is definitely that! I wanted to create a new piece featuring a deer and wanted it to include what I love to draw best….flowers. It is probably one of my favorite pieces that I have created in a long time. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it! More new artwork coming soon!

Hi everyone! I recently was commissioned to do a logo for Moo Organics, a skin & hair care company. The products are made out of organic grass-fed suet beef tallow, sourced locally in AZ, along with 1-2 other simple ingredients that are meant to nourish your skin and hair.
We started out with the cute cow graphic. They wanted a pop of color and whimsy, so I added an orange flower right behind its ear. They wanted a very natural color palette of creams and browns, which was tied into the outer circle and cow print of the logo. I also carried over the cow print and color story into the labels of the products. I really love how it turned out and it looks amazing on their website and products.
If you would like to buy from a small business this holiday season or would like to try out a great new organic product, check out their website!

Hey everyone! The cooler weather this week has definitely got me excited for fall. I chose to do this new piece of art with all the fall colors that I love. I decided to put a cute little snail creeping through a bunch of flowers. It turned out really cute. The colors just scream fall. I just put this little guy up in my Society6 and Redbubble shops on cute clothes and products. Definitely check it out!

Hi everyone! All the sunflowers are blooming in the Kansas City area. There are a few farmers that grow fields of just sunflowers for people to come, admire and take pictures in. It’s definitely a favorite past time of Kansas City. I have already done a piece with sunflowers, but it was fun to revisit them and create a fun piece of art. These sunflowers are definitely bold and vibrant. I love the vibes that it is giving. If you love sunflowers as much as I do, I have just put them on products in my Society6 and Redbubble shops. Enjoy!

Hey everyone! Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. How can it be almost February? I was asked to make some cards for Valentine’s Day cards recently for some adorable little girls to give out to relatives and neighbors. The only request is they wanted a cute dog on it. Since I love dogs, this was right up my wheel house. I had so much fun sketching and creating this adorable Valentine’s Day pup for them. I hope their recipients love him too! I drew and colored him in using Procreate. Even though I created him for a client, I have added him to my Society6 and Redbubble shops. He is available on prints, masks, phone cases and home decor.

Hey everyone! I recently did this drawing because of the scenario that is happening around us. But then I saw that people were protesting to open everything up again….let me just say, how stupid!! I do understand the argument of people suffering from not being able to work and not being able to provide for their families. Which is unfortunate and we should live in a country that supports everyone in an event like this. I will be the first person to say that I hate being stuck at home and not being able to do the things I enjoy most. But getting out to “buy things” and getting your “hair cut” is not a valid reason to open up the economy to risk more people getting sick and more deaths. It will just make everything spike again and we will have to just restart this process all over again. I think these people are incredibly selfish. So this drawing means even more than when I first drew it. Stay healthy, stay strong, stay safe and for heavens sake just stay home!
I can’t believe it’s already Wednesday! Today we have our 100th snow day already this winter (…lol) and it’s my youngest son’s 4th birthday. It’s so crazy he is 4! He is such a silly, adventurous and fearless (most of the time) boy. He is completely opposite of his older brother, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I can’t wait to see what the next year brings for him. Even though we have a dog, he loves cats. So I thought I would create a piece that involved a cat just for him celebrating his birthday. I drew this piece digitally using the Procreate app on my iPad. Enjoy! Happy Birthday little man!
2 days until Christmas! I repeat 2 days until Christmas! My boys have been counting down the days very closely all week long. I get an update the minute I get up in the morning. It’s been pretty funny to see how much they are excited about Christmas this year. This fun Christmas pup was created for one of my Christmas cards one year. He was made with pen and marker and then scanned in. I put the snowflakes in the background using Photoshop. This cute guy always puts a smile on my face!
Happy Monday everyone! My family is officially dragging their feet today. We had a busy weekend with family at Great Wolf Lodge and had a lot of fun at the water park. Needless to say we are very tired. This weekend also made me contemplate on all the good people and things in my life. We should give thanks for all the good family and friends we are blessed to have amidst the toxic people that surround us. Here is a quick piece I felt inspired to do this weekend. It was made digitally using my Procreate app on my iPad. It’s pretty simple, yet to the point. This would look so cool on a pillow. I hope to have this up in my shops today. Enjoy!
Happy Monday! Here is a quick sketch I did recently. I wanted to do a cute little drawing with a dachshund/weener dog. I think this will be super cute on a greeting card. I’m hoping to have this up in my shops later today. I hope everyone has a great week!
