Hey everyone! Sorry I haven’t posted much in a while. I spent the months of September and October creating hand painted ornaments for my Etsy shop. I have them all completed and have posted them all in my shop. I have some that are single ornaments and some that are sets. They all have free shipping. Remember to support local businesses and artists this holiday season! I would love for you to check them out!
Hi Everyone! It’s been a couple of busy weeks full of fun freelance projects. I recently was contacted and asked to create a flyer for BOMA San Antonio. They are holding a clothing drive during the month of March to donate clothes to Dress For Success San Antonio. They needed a flyer and digital media to help get the word out about the event. I wanted it to be colorful, bold and fun, so I drew articles of women’s clothes that they needed donated and put them in a heart. I hope their event is successful and they are able to make a large donation to Dress For Success. If you need any custom art created, please send me a message!
Hi everyone! Life has been really busy lately. Luckily, we took a vacation in between. So this post is a late post. I made these really cute digital portraits of my pups and wanted to make sure I shared them to the site. If you are interested in having one commissioned, please send me a message. I can create a digital file in the size you need to get printed. They were so fun to create!

Hi everyone! I recently was commissioned to do a logo for Moo Organics, a skin & hair care company. The products are made out of organic grass-fed suet beef tallow, sourced locally in AZ, along with 1-2 other simple ingredients that are meant to nourish your skin and hair.
We started out with the cute cow graphic. They wanted a pop of color and whimsy, so I added an orange flower right behind its ear. They wanted a very natural color palette of creams and browns, which was tied into the outer circle and cow print of the logo. I also carried over the cow print and color story into the labels of the products. I really love how it turned out and it looks amazing on their website and products.
If you would like to buy from a small business this holiday season or would like to try out a great new organic product, check out their website!
Hey everyone! Today’s post is a recent project I did for a friend. She needed a logo for their schools PAWS (Parents Actively Working for Students) group. The elementary school opened during the Pandemic and she had just taken over the group. She was looking for something cool besides the school mascot to use for meetings, social media presence and spirit wear. I love how simple the logo is and how it will stay timeless for years to come. I also created a horizontal logo to go with it, so they had more freedom using it in different situations. It is the second logo pictured below. I really had a lot of fun creating this logo for a great group of people! If you need a logo or custom art created, send me a message for a quote.
Hey everyone! As some of you know, I have been designing the spirit wear for my boys elementary school for a few years now. This year when they contacted me and wanted to go with something that had a retro vibe. I think Stranger Things has definitely had an influence on bringing retro back. I designed a few different options for them to choose from and we landed on this design for the spirit wear this year. I like how simple and retro it is. The printer only allowed one color, so ultimately we went with white. It looks so sharp on every color I have seen it printed on.
Hey everyone! I know, it’s been a while since I have posted anything new. It has been a crazy summer of swimming, playing, traveling, seeing friends and family. One of our trips this past summer was to La Crosse, Wisconsin to celebrate my husband’s grandma’s 99 1/2 birthday. Her 100th birthday will be this January, but we wanted everyone to be able to celebrate with her over the summer at her half birthday. It was such a beautiful day with family and friends. I was asked to design the save the date and invitation. I knew I wanted it to be all about her and very colorful. She still has a lot of spunk and is such a wonderful a lady. So I drew many colorful flowers to frame a beautiful picture of her and paired it with the phrase 100 years loved I found on the internet. I felt that it fit her perfectly! I hope you enjoy this as much I as I did creating it.
Hey everyone! It has been a crazy couple of months for me lately. From having surgery to the boys spring sports starting up, it feels very hectic already this spring. I was asked by the PTA of my kids school to create a cute flyer for their Fine Arts Night. It’s a fun night to display all the kids artwork, look at the book fair, listen to choir, band & stings concerts. It was really fun to create and I tried to make sure each element of the evening was included in the illustration. The mascot for the school is a bear, so I made sure he was front and center. I hope you all enjoy it as much I as I did creating it!
Hey everyone! I’m excited to finally be able to share the the 2nd book in the series that I illustrated that is a part of a project that I have been working on with Strive 2 Thrive Coulee Region. I’m proud to present to you all Now & Zen Volume 2. It is a 5″ by 5″ 14 page Zentangle booklet printed on 10% Post Consumer Waste Paper. This book is made possible by Strive 2 Thrive Coulee Region and Ope Publishing based in La Crosse, WI. Vicki Miller started the non-profit in early 2020. Last fall, she came up with the idea to create a small booklet to help people have a way to relieve stress during these unprecedented times. The booklet is made up illustrations that include Zentangle and Zendoodling. After an intro from myself at the beginning of the book, there are full spread Zentangle illustrations with inspirational sayings and additional space after these pages to use as you feel needed. This book was super fun to make since I had the artistic help of my niece Brianna. She helped pick the themes, inspirational sayings and created the video to introduce the book.
If you would like to own a your very own copy of Now & Zen Volume 1 or Volume 2, please go to my shop page! The books are $7 plus shipping and we also have hats with the Now & Zen logo for $25 plus shipping. All proceeds of the books and hats will go toward purchasing Now & Zen booklets for La Crosse, WI area non-profit organizations.
Ways to use this fun Zentangle booklet:
1.You can use it as a coloring book. Follow along the book and color the illustrations to bring a moment of calmness to your day. You can use colored pencils, markers or whatever you have on hand. Don’t forget to color the cover!
2.You can draw and doodle in it. Use the drawings that are already in place in the book and use them as a starting off point to relieve stress. You can create your own Zentangle or keep adding on to the existing drawings.
3. You can use it for a fun way to journal. Write down your thoughts for the day, important dates, inspirational sayings or even personal goals. You can also add stickers or washi to make it a collage.
I hope you enjoy this book as much I did illustrating it!
