Hey everyone! Today’s post is a recent project I did for a friend. She needed a logo for their schools PAWS (Parents Actively Working for Students) group. The elementary school opened during the Pandemic and she had just taken over the group. She was looking for something cool besides the school mascot to use for meetings, social media presence and spirit wear. I love how simple the logo is and how it will stay timeless for years to come. I also created a horizontal logo to go with it, so they had more freedom using it in different situations. It is the second logo pictured below. I really had a lot of fun creating this logo for a great group of people! If you need a logo or custom art created, send me a message for a quote.

Hey everyone! As some of you know, I have been designing the spirit wear for my boys elementary school for a few years now. This year when they contacted me and wanted to go with something that had a retro vibe. I think Stranger Things has definitely had an influence on bringing retro back. I designed a few different options for them to choose from and we landed on this design for the spirit wear this year. I like how simple and retro it is. The printer only allowed one color, so ultimately we went with white. It looks so sharp on every color I have seen it printed on.
Hey everyone! School has officially started in my house last week. So this will be my boys first full week back to school. In the past couple years I have created spirit wear for the elementary school. This year I was asked to make an 80’s themed logo. I also created a couple of other options and the parents voted on the top two that they liked. The 80’s theme and a rainbow logo were the top two picks. These logos will be on tees and sweatshirts for the school. I also painted bulletin board for the PTA with the rainbow logo. Below is a pic of my boys and the bulletin board. I hope everyone has a great back to school!
Hi everyone! Here is another invitation that I did recently. This invite was created for my husbands grandparents. They decided to throw a party to celebrate all three of them together since they are all having milestone birthdays. One of the grandparents requested that there was caricatures of each of them. So that is just what I did. I created little avatars that look like each of them. They turned out pretty cute. We were able to travel to Wisconsin to attend the party and it was great to see many friends and family. If you need an custom invitation made, send me a message! I love creating custom artwork!
Hi everyone! Sorry I haven’t had too many new posts lately. I have been working on a big project since February. I created this logo for a set of small zentangle books that I illustrated for a Strive 2 Thrive Coulee Region, a non profit in La Crosse, WI. I will share more about the books pretty soon, but for now I wanted to share the logo design for the project as a whole. This logo is incorporated on the covers of each book and will also be used on social media, apparel and websites. This project was a lot of fun to be a part of and I can’t wait to keep sharing more about it with everyone!
Hey everyone! During this summer, a friend of mine commissioned me to make a logo for her homeschooling page. She homeschools both her girls and teaches them both french and english studies. She wanted me to incorporate the dual languages and a plum. The name of her homeschool is Petite Plum Homeschool. So it definitely makes sense to have plum! I decided to paint this logo using watercolor instead of digitally because I wanted it to have an organic feeling. The hardest part for me was incorporating the languages, but finally decided to make the leaves of the plums the flags of the represented languages. I really like how it turned out and she was really pleased to. She just launched her page of facebook and instagram. You can follow Petite Plum Homeschool on facebook here at https://www.facebook.com/Petite-Plum-Homeschool-10023386513341 or on Instagram at @petite_plum_homeschool. If you need any custom art, logos or invites created, please send me a message. I love creating custom art!
Hey everyone! Here is a watercolor painting that I did recently. I did it on a whim and it turned out pretty cute. If I may say so! The first picture is of the initial pencil and pen sketch that I did. The second photo is of the finished painting. I recently uploaded it to my Society6 and Redbubble shops of prints and products. Definitely check it out!

Hey everyone! It’s supposed to be a dreary day here in KC today, but we really need the rain. My plants are looking forward to it! It’s been so hot and the ground is so dry. My boys on the other hand are acting like the world is ending since they can’t have any pool time today. They definitely have sunshine on their minds at all times! I drew this last week during a little bit of downtime I had before a playdate we had. Summer is in full swing and it has been definitely nice to start seeing some friends and enjoying the sunshine together. I hope everyone’s summer is going great so far!
Summer is here and pool time with friends has begun. Since the pools around us are limited or closed, it has been nice to have a couple of friends over to swim. Our favorite summer past time is swimming and then having a popsicle on the deck. Popsicles always seem to taste better when it’s hot outside. Yummy! I chose to put the phrase “chill out” on the popsicle, because I feel like I have to say it all the time to my boys. I guess you can say it’s my summer motto….lol! I created and sketched this out using Procreate. This cool piece is now in my Society6 and Redbubble shops. Enjoy!
Hey everyone! Here is a quick little digital drawing that I did while my boys were swimming and having fun. I love flowers and creating patterns with them. You can probably tell that by looking at my portfolio…lol! Even though these flowers came straight from my head and don’t have a real name, I love how they look very summer forward. We have been doing a lot of landscaping this summer in our front and back yard. It’s always so fun and satisfying to see everything grow and bloom. I just uploaded these beauties to my Society6 and Redbubble shops for purchase on prints and products. Enjoy!
