Spring Daisy Print

Hi everyone! So I’m definitely enjoying this spring like weather that has swept through Kansas City this past week. I’m hoping it is not short lived and that winter is on it’s way out. The spring vibes inspired me to create this fun flower print. I love daisies and the fresh look they have. This print is on prints and products in my Society6 and Redbubble shops.

Creeping Snail

Hey everyone! The cooler weather this week has definitely got me excited for fall. I chose to do this new piece of art with all the fall colors that I love. I decided to put a cute little snail creeping through a bunch of flowers. It turned out really cute. The colors just scream fall. I just put this little guy up in my Society6 and Redbubble shops on cute clothes and products. Definitely check it out!

Bold, Yellow Sunflowers

Hi everyone! All the sunflowers are blooming in the Kansas City area. There are a few farmers that grow fields of just sunflowers for people to come, admire and take pictures in. It’s definitely a favorite past time of Kansas City. I have already done a piece with sunflowers, but it was fun to revisit them and create a fun piece of art. These sunflowers are definitely bold and vibrant. I love the vibes that it is giving. If you love sunflowers as much as I do, I have just put them on products in my Society6 and Redbubble shops. Enjoy!

Green Succulent Pattern

Hey everyone! I hope everyone had a great Easter! We had a lovely day full of good food, Easter egg hunts and family. I recently got this really cute succulent planter from Home Depot and it was a great center piece on my kitchen island. I have been really obsessed with succulents lately. I love that they are all different shapes, colors and sizes. I really like having greenery in my house and it really boosts my mood. I started drawing this pattern of succulents as a doodle and then it turned into a week long project. It is definitely something different than I usually create, but I really enjoyed making it. This print is available in my Society6 and Redbubble shops. Enjoy!

Green Field of Flowers

Hey everyone! It was a busy but fun weekend for my family. We have been painting trim in our house trying to eliminate all traces of the eighties from my house…lol! It’s been a project! Slowly bur surely we are getting it tackled. We also had a small birthday party for my niece at our house. She is turning 11 and starting middle school this year, so we wanted to make sure she had a fun celebration with swimming, pizza, cake and ice cream. It was a good change of pace with everything that is going on. It felt great celebrating something! This drawing was created this past week between projects. I think I have flowers on the brain. I have definitely been drawing inspiration from them on my past couple of pieces. I drew these whimsical flowers digitally using Procreate. I also used green as the primary color because it’s my all time favorite color. It soothes my soul! I hope you all enjoy this little bit of whimsy!

Spring Boho Poodle

So how’s everyone doing? Needless to say I know everyone is under extra stress and have had major daily changes. This is week 2 of staying home for our family (minus my husband since he works at a hospital). I feel like we may be getting into a routine, but who knows how our new normal is going to be. I have been trying to stay positive and keep busy creating new artwork. Drawing tends to help me escape reality and by all means I need it right now. Here is one of the drawings that I have created recently. I love poodles and how fluffy they are. I definitely wanted to make it scream Spring, so I decided to include a flower crown. Hopefully everyone stays home, keep healthy and is able to find a new normal. Enjoy!

Think Spring

I hope this Monday morning is treating everyone well. The weather here in Kansas City has been definitely crazy for it being the month of April. I feel that if I keep creating more Spring art pieces, the sooner it will start feeling like it. But this weather is just not cooperating. Please Mother Nature let the warm sun come out soon! This piece was made using Procreate on my IPad Pro using an Apple Pencil. From start to finish, it was created digitally while watching my kids favorite movie Ghost Busters for the millionth time. (I love it too!) Atleast something productive came from it. You can now shop this design at my Society6 shop at https://society6.com/ruthmillercreative. Have a happy Monday!
