Here is another new piece that I created for this holiday season. I have been putting this cute Santa Claus on my painted wooden ornaments for the past couple years. I realized that I hadn’t officially drawn him out in illustration form. Every time I see him, he puts a smile on my face and I am instantly in a good mood. He was drawn digitally using Procreate. Hi everyone! I can’t believe it is already less than a week before Christmas. This December has flown by so fast! I went Christmas shopping at one of my favorite local boutiques and they had this Christmas song lyric “Simply Having A Wonderful Christmas Time” on a pillow. It is one of my favorite Christmas songs. It was so awesome that I wanted to make my own artwork with it. I drew this cute ornament using Procreate and put the lyric inside. It makes me happy just looking at it. What is your favorite Christmas song? I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Hi everyone! Spring is finally here. It’s great hearing the birds singing, flowers blooming and the weather warming up. I love it! It’s definitely boosting my mood. We just finished up spring break here in KC. I started looking ahead on the calendar and couldn’t believe that Easter is only 2 weeks away. I feel like it has snuck up on me. Does anyone else feel that way? Here is a quick digital drawing that I did to get into the Easter spirit. My youngest son loves hiding Easter eggs, so I thought I would do a drawing of those. I quite like how they turned out. These colorful eggs are now in my Society6 and Redbubble shops. Enjoy!

It’s officially party season! Our weekends have been crammed pack full of birthday and holiday parties. It’s nice to have today to recover and relax. I made this illustration for some Christmas card my husband and I sent out years ago, but I still love it. This painting was made with watercolor and outlined with black ink. If you love it as much as I do, this design has been added to my shops. Enjoy!
It’s Monday and I can’t even fathom that there are only 2 and a half weeks left until Christmas. The time is just flying by it seems like. Luckily I have been on top of things, so I’m not feeling the stress that usually comes this time of the year. I have also picked up some impromptu ornament orders this week, which has been fun to make. I did this illustration this past week and wanted to try this color combination. I really like how bold it is and not your traditional “red and green”. I continually keep practicing my hand lettering. I feel like it is getting better….at least I think! Spread some joy to the world this holiday season.
Happy Sunday! Today I just announced the winner to my Christmas Llama tote bag on Instagram and Facebook. I needed a quick little illustration to go with the post. So I grabbed my handy dandy iPad and drew this up really quick on my Procreate app. I have always loved this phrase and wanted to put a cute spin to it with the little chicks dressed up in Christmas gear. Tis the season…right?
Happy Wednesday everyone! I’m looking forward to all the amazing food and shopping deals starting tomorrow. But it has me also thinking of all the people I’m thankful for.
