Happy Valentines Day everyone! Thanks for all the support! Here is a quick pen and marker drawing I did for love day in my traveling sketchbook. Enjoy!

Happy Boo-thday!

It’s a pretty exciting day here in our household! It’s my oldest son Liam’s 7th Birthday! It’s pretty crazy how 7 years has just flown by. It’s funny how that happens. I wanted to make a drawing just to celebrate him today. Since his birthday is always a week away from Halloween, I thought a cool ghost would fit the bill. I drew this guy with pen and Prismacolor markers in my sketchbook that travels along with me most days. Happy Birthday Liam! We love you!

Acorns

Here are before and after pics of a recent sketch I did. The before was drawn out with pencil and outlined with pen. I used Prismacolor markers to color in these sweet acorns. I love how the color is intense and saturated with Prismacolor markers. They are my go to marker of choice! Keep your eyes out for some Hallowe

Fall is Coming

Hey everyone! Happy Monday! Here is a before and after color look of this cool autumn sketch that I created. I’m loving the warm colors that I chose, it just screams fall. But the one good thing about this sketch is the endless possibilities of color combinations that could be used. I may have to play around with some more combos. Keep your eyes peeled for a giveaway coming soon. Meanwhile here are some sales going on in my shops today:

Happy Turkey Day

My 2nd favorite eating day has arrived! Nothing beats the smells of right out of the oven turkey, mashed potatoes, rolls and pumpkin pie. Except we don’t have pie at our gatherings because I hate pie crust. I know I’m weird, so I usually make a pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese frosting instead. I love the sense of family and thankfulness this holiday brings each year. Remember gobble until you wobble! Happy Thanksgiving!

Cold

It is so freaking cold outside! I don’t like the cold, I don’t like being cold….end of story. Most of my sketches start from ideas that I have while waiting in the car pick up line to get my oldest son from kindergarten. So you can imagine the only thing on my mind today is being cold. Today I decided to stick to black and white using my Paper-mate ink joy pen! Stay warm out there!
