Sunshine On My Mind

Hey everyone! It’s supposed to be a dreary day here in KC today, but we really need the rain. My plants are looking forward to it!  It’s been so hot and the ground is so dry. My boys on the other hand are acting like the world is ending since they can’t have any pool time today. They definitely have sunshine on their minds at all times! I drew this last week during a little bit of downtime I had before a playdate we had. Summer is in full swing and it has been definitely nice to start seeing some friends and enjoying the sunshine together. I hope everyone’s summer is going great so far!

Think Positive

Hey everyone! Here is a lettering doodle that I did this past week. I downloaded some new procreate brushes and had fun playing around with them. I know the phrase “think positive” is pretty basic, but it should definitely be the motto right now with everything happening around us. I have repeatedly had to say this to myself during this quarantine. I know I’m probably not the only one! So I just felt that I should just put this out there in case someone needs to read that phrase today. I also played around with the animation feature in Procreate and thought it would be cool to see it come to life.
