Merry Christmas Snowman

Merry Christmas from Ruth Miller Creative! It’s been an amazing Christmas season for my family. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year! This cute snowman was created digitally with Procreate.

Tinsel in a Tangle

Hello everyone! 2 days until Christmas! I saw this phrase last year on something and loved it! It’s the perfect saying for this time of year. I knew that I wanted to put my own spin on it and practice doing lettering. I used Procreate and it’s brushes to make the lettering, wreath and the rustic wood planks in the background. I wanted to keep it simple and to the point. Love the overall look!

Winter Woodland Scene

I can’t believe Christmas is only 12 days away! I feel like it was just Thanksgiving. It’s funny how time does that! We have had a busy week at my house. In between appointments and errands, I managed to squeeze in some downtime to draw. This winter woodland scene was just the break I needed. I really love how it turned out and I hope you enjoy it too!

Think Spring

I hope this Monday morning is treating everyone well. The weather here in Kansas City has been definitely crazy for it being the month of April. I feel that if I keep creating more Spring art pieces, the sooner it will start feeling like it. But this weather is just not cooperating. Please Mother Nature let the warm sun come out soon! This piece was made using Procreate on my IPad Pro using an Apple Pencil. From start to finish, it was created digitally while watching my kids favorite movie Ghost Busters for the millionth time. (I love it too!) Atleast something productive came from it. You can now shop this design at my Society6 shop at https://society6.com/ruthmillercreative. Have a happy Monday!

Love You Deerly

Good Morning Everyone! I hope this Saturday is awesome. I have been still experimenting with the Apple pencil using the app Procreate. I used a doodle from my sketch book and played around coloring it in digitally. I used most of the original lines of the drawing. I would have shared the video of the process, but it would have been 5 minutes long since I changed my mind about 1,000 times. So below is the final product and the original sketch that it is based off of. Enjoy!
