Hey everyone! It’s supposed to be a dreary day here in KC today, but we really need the rain. My plants are looking forward to it! It’s been so hot and the ground is so dry. My boys on the other hand are acting like the world is ending since they can’t have any pool time today. They definitely have sunshine on their minds at all times! I drew this last week during a little bit of downtime I had before a playdate we had. Summer is in full swing and it has been definitely nice to start seeing some friends and enjoying the sunshine together. I hope everyone’s summer is going great so far!
Hello everyone! Today marks the beginning of the 6th week of staying at home for our family. It has definitely had its challenges, but we are getting through it one day at a time. We have a routine set up during the week for school and it has drastically helped. My kids really thrive on having some kind of schedule and normalcy. I have been also trying to set up a routine of drawing, but some times I just do not have the motivation. But I know I need to keep it up so I have a distraction from all this mess. I drew this positive saying out during the past week of quarantine. It started with a sketch in Procreate and ended with this uplifting sun. During this time, we all definitely need good vibes. It’s finally the weekend! At our house this weekend is going to be full of yard work in our backyard to prepare it for a pool. We are pretty excited about it! If any of you know my husband, he’s been pretty anti-pool in our backyard until recently. He has finally come to the dark side since our summer here in Kansas City is about a month a head of schedule. I hope everyone enjoys some fun in the sun this weekend.
