Hi everyone! Here is another invitation that I did recently. This invite was created for my husbands grandparents. They decided to throw a party to celebrate all three of them together since they are all having milestone birthdays. One of the grandparents requested that there was caricatures of each of them. So that is just what I did. I created little avatars that look like each of them. They turned out pretty cute. We were able to travel to Wisconsin to attend the party and it was great to see many friends and family. If you need an custom invitation made, send me a message! I love creating custom artwork!
Hey everyone! I am finally able to show you some invitations that I have worked on at the beginning of the summer. I usually don’t like to post the invitation until after the event has happened. One of the invitations that I custom designed was for a splash party. The family hosted a splash party on their front lawn to meet their new neighbors since they just moved to the area. I thought it was a cute idea. For the invitation, I decided to go with bight, fun and playful summer elements. I love how it turned out! It’s fun yet simple! If you need any custom art created, send me a message. I love creating custom artwork!
Hey everyone! I’m excited to finally be able to share the book that I illustrated that is a part of a project that I have been working on since February. I’m proud to present to you all Now & Zen Volume 1. It is a 5″ by 5″ 14 page Zentangle booklet printed on 10% Post Consumer Waste Paper. This book is made possible by Strive 2 Thrive Coulee Region and Ope Publishing based in La Crosse, WI. Vicki Miller started the non-profit in early 2020. Last fall, she came up with the idea to create a small booklet to help people have a way to relieve stress during these unprecedented times. The booklet is made up illustrations that include Zentangle and Zendoodling. After an intro from Vicki at the beginning of the book, there are full spread Zentangle illustrations with inspirational sayings and additional space after each of these pages with little bits of the theme carried over to use as you feel needed.
If you would like to own a your very own copy of Now & Zen, please go to my shop page! The book is $7 plus shipping and we also have hats with the Now & Zen logo for $25 plus shipping. All proceeds of the books and hats will go toward purchasing Now & Zen booklets for La Crosse, WI area non-profit organizations.
Ways to use this fun Zentangle booklet:
1.You can use it as a coloring book. Follow along the book and color the illustrations to bring a moment of calmness to your day. You can use colored pencils, markers or whatever you have on hand. Don’t forget to color the cover!
2.You can draw and doodle in it. Use the drawings that are already in place in the book and use them as a starting off point to relieve stress. You can create your own Zentangle or keep adding on to the existing drawings.
3. You can use it for a fun way to journal. Write down your thoughts for the day, important dates, inspirational sayings or even personal goals. You can also add stickers or washi to make it a collage.
I hope you enjoy this book as much I did illustrating it!
Hi everyone! Sorry I haven’t had too many new posts lately. I have been working on a big project since February. I created this logo for a set of small zentangle books that I illustrated for a Strive 2 Thrive Coulee Region, a non profit in La Crosse, WI. I will share more about the books pretty soon, but for now I wanted to share the logo design for the project as a whole. This logo is incorporated on the covers of each book and will also be used on social media, apparel and websites. This project was a lot of fun to be a part of and I can’t wait to keep sharing more about it with everyone!
Hey everyone! I can’t believe it’s already the last day of school for my 2 kiddos. This year has been a roller coaster to say the least. Between virtual school, going in person, masks and getting Covid, they have thrived. I’m very proud with how they have handled it all. They have been counting down the days until Summer all week long. I’m looking forward to sleeping in and not being on a schedule. The boys are looking forward to swimming, traveling and playing with friends. It will be nice to finally have some normalcy this summer. Have a fun summer everyone!

Hey everyone! I hope everyone had a great Easter! We had a lovely day full of good food, Easter egg hunts and family. I recently got this really cute succulent planter from Home Depot and it was a great center piece on my kitchen island. I have been really obsessed with succulents lately. I love that they are all different shapes, colors and sizes. I really like having greenery in my house and it really boosts my mood. I started drawing this pattern of succulents as a doodle and then it turned into a week long project. It is definitely something different than I usually create, but I really enjoyed making it. This print is available in my Society6 and Redbubble shops. Enjoy!
Hey everyone! 2 days until Easter! Here is a cute portrait of the Easter Bunny that I created this week. I drew it in Procreate while I had some downtime. I wanted to create a little portrait in a gold frame of Ms. Easter Bunny with some moody wall paper in the background. This piece is definitely a little moody with whole ton of cuteness. I hope everyone has a great Easter! Enjoy!
Hey everyone! It’s crazy to think that Easter is less than a week away. The weather is beautiful and all the flowers are blooming. It’s shaping up to be a great Easter Sunday. I’m looking forward to a yummy Easter feast, delicious candy and hiding Easter eggs. What’s your favorite part of Easter? Here is a doodle that I drew this past week of this cute chick. I created this fun Spring Easter art in Procreate. Enjoy!
Hi everyone! Spring is finally here. It’s great hearing the birds singing, flowers blooming and the weather warming up. I love it! It’s definitely boosting my mood. We just finished up spring break here in KC. I started looking ahead on the calendar and couldn’t believe that Easter is only 2 weeks away. I feel like it has snuck up on me. Does anyone else feel that way? Here is a quick digital drawing that I did to get into the Easter spirit. My youngest son loves hiding Easter eggs, so I thought I would do a drawing of those. I quite like how they turned out. These colorful eggs are now in my Society6 and Redbubble shops. Enjoy!
