spring flowers

Portrait of E.B.

Hey everyone! 2 days until Easter! Here is a cute portrait of the Easter Bunny that I created this week. I drew it in Procreate while I had some downtime. I wanted to create a little portrait in a gold frame of Ms. Easter Bunny with some moody wall paper in the background. This piece is definitely a little moody with whole ton of cuteness. I hope everyone has a great Easter! Enjoy!

Spring Easter Chick

Hey everyone! It’s crazy to think that Easter is less than a week away. The weather is beautiful and all the flowers are blooming. It’s shaping up to be a great Easter Sunday. I’m looking forward to a yummy Easter feast, delicious candy and hiding Easter eggs. What’s your favorite part of Easter? Here is a doodle that I drew this past week of this cute chick. I created this fun Spring Easter art in Procreate. Enjoy!

Find Joy in the Ordinary

Hey everyone! It is finally starting to warm up around here. Yay for Spring! I love seeing the flowers starting to emerge from the ground, hearing the birds chirp and being able to open the windows. It’s the little things that make me happy and I am finding joy in them. I love Spring because it just feels like a new start every year. This year especially feels different because of Covid. It feels like there is some hope and a light at the end of the tunnel. I hope the year keeps looking up! This piece was drawn in Procreate and I knew that I wanted to incorporate colorful flowers. I wanted it to scream Spring and it does just that. Enjoy!

Choose Happy

Hey everyone! I feel like this week I finally had a wave of creativity and have had many ideas just flowing out of my brain. It’s been really nice since it feels like I have hit a creative block during this quarantine. I have been having to force myself to sit and draw. So I will definitely embrace this spurt of creativity. Here is one of the doodles that I did last night on my iPad using the Procreate app. It’s nothing too fancy, but I like how it turned out. This message does really come at a good time! We should all try to choose happiness during these uncertain times. I am really trying to practice this daily. What kind of things are you trying to do to keep happy? I have been trying to keep creative, baking my favorite treats, enjoying my garden and making simple home improvements. I hope everyone is staying healthy and safe! Enjoy!

Bloom Where You Are Planted

It’s a new week! This quarantine business is for the dogs…lol! I have been trying to make the most of it and just relax, but I don’t know how to do that very well. Just like my dad, I like to constantly stay productive. There are all these things that I would like to do around my house and yard, but the whole staying at home thing is kind of preventing them from happening. So for the moment, I will try to keep busy by drawing knew stuff. I saw this phrase the other day and loved it. I need to practice it a little bit more. I did the lettering and drew out everything digitally in Procreate. I hope you all find this saying inspirational and gives you some positive vibes today. This sweet saying is now available in my Society6 and Redbubble shops on product. Enjoy!

Spring Star Flower Print

It’s the weekend! I know the days have started to run together for everyone since we are all at home. But hey it’s still something to celebrate….right?! I have been trying to stay creative and draw during the moments I can. But I’m not going to lie it’s hard to find the motivation. Once I start drawing, it becomes pretty therapeutic for me and I tend to not focus on all the chaos that is surrounding me. This past week I drew this seamless flower pattern. I’m still working on mastering the seamless pattern, but have been enjoying creating them. I wanted to create another pattern that screams Spring. So I went the abstract flower route. The purples and corals really pop with the black flower line art on top. I really like how it turned out. This print is available on product in my Society6 and Redbubble shops. Just click the links above. Enjoy!

What’s Up Buttercup

Hey everyone! I know if you are anything like me this social distancing is wearing you down. I have been trying to keep somewhat of a schedule with my 2 boys, but I’m not going to lie it’s getting bored and slightly insane. I am usually one of those personality types that need to have alone time to decompress and stay sane. That has been thrown completely out the window due to my sons being home because school has been cancelled at least until the end of the year. So as of right now I’m hoping by keeping a routine in place and trying to stay creative with at least a drawing a day that I will survive this with out going crazy….lol! But in all seriousness, I hope everyone is staying healthy and socially distancing themselves, so this will end way sooner than later. I drew this piece to try to stay positive and as a distraction to all the news. I used Procreate to draw it digitally. I hope you enjoy it!
