Face Masks

Hey everyone! Redbubble just launched face masks to their site. Which means you can now have wearable art of mine for your face. The masks have two layers of washable 100% brushed woven polyester. The print is on the outer layer. They have over-ear elastic straps for a snug fit over mouth and nose. Masks come in one size and fit most adults. They are $12.50 or $10 if you buy 4 or more.

For every mask sold, Redbubble will be donating a mask to Heart to Heart International. Heart to Heart International works with volunteers, partners, and donors to make healthcare more accessible. They have launched international, domestic, and local responses to COVID-19.

If you or someone you know is looking for some please visit my Redbubble shop!

Tulip Blossoms

Happy Monday everyone! Today marks the 7th week of quarantine for our family. This past weekend has been pretty good for us. We were able to get some projects around the house done, yard work and haircuts for my boys and the dog. It feels like we got a lot accomplished. I also was able to get some watercolor paintings done. I’m not going to lie…it felt great to just sit and paint and tune out everything even if it was just a couple of hours. It definitely boosted my mood for the week. It’s amazing how just doing something you love and enjoy can do that. This painting was just for fun and hopefully I will be able to get it up on my shops soon. Enjoy!

Stay Home

Hey everyone! I recently did this drawing because of the scenario that is happening around us. But then I saw that people were protesting to open everything up again….let me just say, how stupid!! I do understand the argument of people suffering from not being able to work and not being able to provide for their families. Which is unfortunate and we should live in a country that supports everyone in an event like this.  I will be the first person to say that I hate being stuck at home and not being able to do the things I enjoy most. But getting out to “buy things” and getting your “hair cut” is not a valid reason to open up the economy to risk more people getting sick and more deaths. It will just make everything spike again and we will have to just restart this process all over again. I think these people are incredibly selfish. So this drawing means even more than when I first drew it. Stay healthy, stay strong, stay safe and for heavens sake just stay home!

Good Vibes Only

Hello everyone! Today marks the beginning of the 6th week of staying at home for our family. It has definitely had its challenges, but we are getting through it one day at a time. We have a routine set up during the week for school and it has drastically helped. My kids really thrive on having some kind of schedule and normalcy. I have been also trying to set up a routine of drawing, but some times I just do not have the motivation. But I know I need to keep it up so I have a distraction from all this mess. I drew this positive saying out during the past week of quarantine. It started with a sketch in Procreate and ended with this uplifting sun. During this time, we all definitely need good vibes. Stay home, Stay healthy & Stay Safe! Enjoy!

Spring Mandala

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Easter! We had a great Easter with just our family of four. We dyed eggs, had an Easter egg hunt, opened basket goodies and devoured a delicious meal made by my husband. It was definitely different from previous years and I missed seeing all my family this past holiday. I can’t wait to gather with them again and celebrate. One saving grace is technology, I loved being able to Face time and Zoom with everyone. That has definitely helped during all this craziness. Here is another drawing that I did recently to help keep my mind off of things. It’s nothing too fancy, but I tried to keep the colors very true to Spring. I’m very pleased with how it turned out and it’s a beautiful spring mandala. Keep creating!

Homebody

Hey everyone! Are you a homebody? I am! I’m not ashamed to admit! On normal circumstances I enjoy being at home, having alone time to my self and like being in my own element. I guess you can say I’m an introverted extrovert. I love being around my friends and family but I tend to hit a wall and need to have space to myself to recharge. Anyone else like that? I will say that with this pandemic, I am getting a little stir crazy. I don’t know how much longer I can manage staying in my house and not start to hate it. I know I am not the only one! I did this quick drawing last night to help keep my sanity. I drew this cute happy pup in his house with the phrase homebody. He is definitely happy to stay home!  Keep calm everyone, stay safe and keep being creative!
