Chill Out Popsicle

Summer is here and pool time with friends has begun. Since the pools around us are limited or closed, it has been nice to have a couple of friends over to swim. Our favorite summer past time is swimming and then having a popsicle on the deck. Popsicles always seem to taste better when it’s hot outside. Yummy! I chose to put the phrase “chill out” on the popsicle, because I feel like I have to say it all the time to my boys. I guess you can say it’s my summer motto….lol! I created and sketched this out using Procreate. This cool piece is now in my Society6 and Redbubble shops. Enjoy!

Sea Stained Glass

We have made it to June! I can’t believe it is already summer. Hopefully this summer will be full of pool time, popsicles on the deck and making fun memories. Once place that I wish we could visit this summer is the beach and ocean. It may just not happen this time around because of Corona virus. The one thing that I love to do while at the beach is looking for shells and sea glass. When I first started working on this watercolor painting, I didn’t know exactly what color story I was going to use. I ended up using blues and greens. The end result looks like a stained glass window using sea glass from the beach. It made my heart happy even though I wasn’t at the ocean. This painting is available on prints and product in my Society6 and Redbubble shops!
