Spring Daisy Print

Hi everyone! So I’m definitely enjoying this spring like weather that has swept through Kansas City this past week. I’m hoping it is not short lived and that winter is on it’s way out. The spring vibes inspired me to create this fun flower print. I love daisies and the fresh look they have. This print is on prints and products in my Society6 and Redbubble shops.

Good Thing

Hey everyone! It’s been super cold here in Kansas City this past week. I guess you could say a polar vortex. Yesterday morning was -15. I don’t think its been that cold here the whole 30 years that I have lived here. While scrolling through the web trying to stay warm, I saw a pillow that had this phrase on it. I really loved it and knew that I wanted to make some art with it. One of my favorite things are flowers and thought that it would pair well with the phrase. It definitely screams Spring and I’m so ready for it to be here instead of Winter. I just added it to my shops on prints and products.

Green Field of Flowers

Hey everyone! It was a busy but fun weekend for my family. We have been painting trim in our house trying to eliminate all traces of the eighties from my house…lol! It’s been a project! Slowly bur surely we are getting it tackled. We also had a small birthday party for my niece at our house. She is turning 11 and starting middle school this year, so we wanted to make sure she had a fun celebration with swimming, pizza, cake and ice cream. It was a good change of pace with everything that is going on. It felt great celebrating something! This drawing was created this past week between projects. I think I have flowers on the brain. I have definitely been drawing inspiration from them on my past couple of pieces. I drew these whimsical flowers digitally using Procreate. I also used green as the primary color because it’s my all time favorite color. It soothes my soul! I hope you all enjoy this little bit of whimsy!

We Were Together

Today is the 11th wedding anniversary with my husband, Bryant. It has been a really great 11 years! I was looking through our wedding photos last night and began to get sentimental. It was great to see all the moments, familiar faces and to see the people we have lost in the last 11 years. Last year we went on a cruise to celebrate our 10th anniversary and I’m so glad we did. This year will definitely be a different kind of celebration but none the less memorable. Cheers to another year Bryant!

And I’d choose you;
In a hundred lifetimes,
In a hundred worlds,
In any version of reality,
I’d find you and
I’d choose you.
